Yeah, the only good news for democrats is if Menendez is convicted, there will be no pressure from Menendez's constituents to resign untill January.

Menendez is going to be so unpopular that if he becomes acquitted, he will lose. It is better if he is convicted & goes out. Christie is anyways hated. Menendez is a disease at this point.

He's better than the cleanest Republican, that's for sure. The last thing we need is a Republican being appointed to that seat and the ACA being repealed.

Of course he doesn't, but what Shadows is saying is that he'll get primaried out. NJ voters don't care about corruption, but it may be a primary from the hard left.
