Who do you think has the best shot to become the first female president of all the democratic candidates?

It's Kirsten Gillibrand! Not Kristen.

I used to think Kirsten Gillibrand was just Hillary-lite, but she seems far smarter and better at campaigning than I gave her credit for. She has potential but it could be tough for her to shake that perception off.

"Best chance to become president" and "most electable" are two different things.  The former is:

(probability that the person runs) * (probability that they win the nomination if they run) * (probability that they win the general election if they're the nominee)

The latter is just:

probability that they win the general election if they're the nominee

So which are you asking about?  Because the subject line of the thread is different from the question in the OP.

Yeah. For the first it's probably Warren, closely followed by Harris because of the California primary being moved to an earlier date. For the second, I'd say Klobucher.

Tulsi Gabbard. She has a similar background to Obama, is a shrewd politician, and is generally well-liked. I'd prefer her in a general election over any of the others. Oh, and she's only 36 years old. If elected in 2020 she'd be the youngest president ever.

Gabbard would be hard to swallow for alot of democrats. Her trip to Syria probably being this biggest issue.

Most likely to win the Democratic nomination is probably Harris, the strongest general election candidate is probably Klobuchar.

Surprised Klobuchar is leading she hasn't got charisma or the sort of personality to lead a ticket and I can't see her having a big enough tent. It would be a Hillary situation without the name recognition.
Whoever the democrats run has to be able to fire up the base, and win over some of the independents and pocs that didn't come out for Hillary.  I really can't see Klobuchar doing especially well with poc for instance.

Name recognition doesn't matter in the general election, since the very act of winning the nomination gives you ~100% name recognition among voters.  Anyone who wins the nomination of one of the two parties automatically becomes a household name.
