With Matheson, it would be a close race IMO.


If Matheson wins, his map would be a ~15% margin out of SLC, a massive win in Summit, narrow wins in Tooele and Carbon Counties, and strong wins in those other two counties that were very close in 2016 whose names I can't, or don't care to, remember.

I still think Hatch wins. Utah, despite its closest last year, is still one of the most GOP states in the country.
