She is the absolute worst.
Just because she's a socialist right? Otherwise you agree with her on raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour.

A little too moderate for me, but I guess I would hold my nose and vote for her just so Trump doesn't get a second term.

I think a Justice Democrat would be a smarter, more electable alternative.

I may be pretty far left, but that's where I draw the line. If Socialist Alternative over in the US is the same as it is here, then I'm going to have difficulty differentiating between them and Communists.

Socialist Alternative in the US is the same Trotskyist party.

She's basically a moderate if you put her in European politics. America's Political discourse has moved so far to the right however.

Can either you or PC explain how she is a perfect for the Liberal Democrats, or say the Dutch D66 or En Marche? Are those parties Trotskyist?

Perhaps the original post wasn't specific enough; I guess it would be fairer to say that she's a moderate by Scandinavian or Central European standards. I think we're nitpicking though; the broader point is that the spectrum of political ideology and the placement of "extremes" in the U.S. is very far to the right relative to the rest of the world.

Moderates in Europe are people like David Cameron and Emmanuel Macron. Neither wants workers to seize the means of production of large corporations, or completely screw with land use and housing policy, like Sawant does.
Right. European moderates are not Trotskyist at all. Sawant is a revolutionary socialist, not a social democrat. Anyone who thinks Sawant is "moderate" like Macron or Tony Blair probably can't tell the difference between Gavin Newsom and Joe Manchin.

Right. European moderates are not Trotskyist at all. Sawant isn't an average social democrat who supports single-payer, free education, and raising the minimum wage. Sawant is a revolutionary socialist. Anyone who thinks Sawant is "moderate" like Macron probably can't tell the difference between Gavin Newsom and Joe Manchin.

"Anyone who has a difference of opinion from me is objectively wrong and stupid!" is basically what I heard here.

...Socialist Alternative is an openly Trotskyist revolutionary socialist party.

The Swedish Moderate Party, Norwegian Hoyre, or for that matter Angela Merkel are not Trotskyists. Neither for that matter are the center-left parties in their respective countries. If she's a moderate in Germany (Central Europe), does that make Gerard Schroeder a Maoist or something?
