Does the president vote in their home state or do they vote in DC.

Obama voted in Illinois in both 2012 and 2016 so I guess their home state.

Did Bush vote in Texas in 2002,2004,2006,2008  or did Clinton vote in Arkansas in 1994,1996,1998,and 2000 as well or was Obama voting in his home state unique.

Clinton voted in Arkansas in 1996.

The link I found was ridiculously long but it was from AP archive and I think it had video of him and Hillary getting off Air Force One. You can type "President Bill Clinton arrives in Arkansas to cast ballot" on Google.

I couldn't find anything about either Bushes but there is no indication that any sitting president has voted in Washington, D.C.

Obama's votes in Illinois were publicized on purpose to encourage voting early I think.

Also, FWIW, Jed Bartlett flew back to New Hampshire to vote in the West Wing. Presumably, the writers, who had some pretty good consultants, pulled that from real life.

That seems like a colossal waste of resources for a purely PR-trip.

Our current president is still listed as an active voter in his home state, so he will certainly have to cast his ballot at the same place he did last year.
