This guy is seriously going to jail.
The big question is how far up the ladder, this treason went.

Not to defend Manafort here (I think he's thoroughly corrupt) but a lot depends on the content of those conversations.  If it was a passing remark about how the campaign was going, then not a big deal.

Oh REALLY ? !!
I await a more definitive conclusion to what you have bolded (since it says "potentially").
But if so, trump is gone. "Lame duck" starts immediately, and then leads to impeachment and removal.

Nahh...Democrats should just lie like the Republicans did about Hillary's emails, Benghazi, and all the other phony scandals during Obama's term. Time for Dems to take the gloves off...just accuse them of everything till it sticks.

I disagree. Because we as a country really do need to be better than that. And because we don't want Trump to get off like OJ did. He needs to be tried and convicted cleanly. Once he's guilty (and we have to allow for the possibility that he really is too stupid to be guilty, although he should still be impeached in that care), the gloves can come off on punishment and he can be nailed to the wall.

And angry when Mueller ends up in jail in his place.

Even if Trump is exonerated, why on earth would you expect Mueller to end up in jail?

This is the funniest thing I've read all day. The evidence of Trump's collusion with Russia is overwhelming.

Everything I've read and heard is that Mueller and his team have been on lockdown when it has come to communicating with the media/leaks. Most of the information the media has gotten about the investigation have come about some time after the fact (often times months) and from the folks that have come in contact with the investigation, not the investigators themselves.

Some of it may well have come from Manafort's lawyers tbh; actually that seems the most likely source for at least some of these leaks.

Prosecution can leak whatever is appropriate to induce a potential defendant to do something incriminating -- like attempted flight.

Don't be surprised if Paul Man-o'-fraud  has gone on a "do not fly" list for places near the Canadian or Mexican borders.
