This poll is for all registered voters in the Lincoln Region and will run for Five Days.

Explanation of Questions: Per the the Reforming and Regionalizing Healthcare Act of 2017, the regions have to make several determinations regarding the nature of their exchanges by January 1, 2018.

The first Question:
AtlasCare can be opted out of for the general market, but will remain available for seniors, vets and others previously in disparate Healthcare programs, as it is the consolidated successor to those entities.

Those regions who opt out have to ensure that there is a provider for both catastrophic care and for preventative care in the region, otherwise the opt out will lapse.

The Second Question:
AtlasCare can be allowed as the only provider on your exchange, in which case a region basically has a single payer, medicare for all type setup.

Alternative Regions can decide to allow competitors onto the market and these can include a number of options, including private-for profit, private - non profit, and co-op based options.

The Third Question
Will people be required to purchase Healthcare.

South and Fremont will be up shortly.

No opt out/undecided/mandated coverage.  I would be open to arguments for a single-payer experiment over multi-payer in Lincoln, but on principle I prefer the latter.

I am somewhat opposed to mandated coverage, regardless, I think we might consider a referendum on different plans.
