CNN will host a town hall with Republican Sens. Lindsey Graham and Bill Cassidy, who will be debating health care with Sens. Bernie Sanders and Amy Klobuchar on Monday, September 25 at 9 p.m. ET. CNN anchor Jake Tapper and chief political correspondent Dana Bash will moderate the 90-minute live event from Washington.

It’s fun to watch Bernie get challenged directly and choke.

If he could be as good as Ted Cruz (who is the best debater the GOP has had in years) & sometimes better, then he will do fine here.

Cassidy should be asked how he can represent such a poor state and feel comfortable introducing a bill that would take away their healthcare. Sanders is not the one that needs to be challenged, it is the authors of this disaster of a bill.

Klobuchar and Sanders? I guess they will do, but Clinton would absolutely wipe the floor with Graham and Cassidy.

I wonder what Klobuchar's stance on single-payer is. I'd assume she'd be leaning against it, and instead supports the public option.

If this is anything like the Sanders vs Cruz healthcare debate, Bernie will embarrass himself again.

This will actually increase the chances of Graham-Cassidy passing. You don't debate something that is about to fail on its own.

Oh dear God. Graham and Cassidy are going to get creamed.

Bernie should just allow Amy to do all the talking.

Hillary wouldn't have agreed to participate in this kind of circus.

I don't think I've ever seen Hillary lose a debate and that's not even stanning. She's a very strong debater.

Well this might be a little awkward now that the bill is pretty much dead.

Hopefully CNN pulls the plug on this.

Why not ask Obama to debate the Repubs on the bill? He's been a strong debater in the past (sans round one vs Mitt) and could easily show how the ACA is superior to any of the replacement attempts.

Or would Republicans just go completely off script and attack Obama for being Obama?

An Obama vs Ryan debate would be a sight to behold. I remember back in 2009/10 when Obama went to the Congressional GOP's retreat to do a Q&A on the ACA. He wiped the floor with every member.

Yes. I remember that Fox News was the one network that cutaway early from the show for obvious reasons. Jon Stewart talked about how he envisioned a frantic staffer running down hallways at Fox screaming "CUT THE FEEEEEEEDD!!"

That is a impressive show of bipartisanship that Obama showed there. I can't see a similar gesture from the Orange Clown.

Correct. Despite Trump's terribly insecure bluster and bravado he will never be half the man President Obama is.

Every take ever made about any debate between two people has been a bad one. Anyone who thinks you can 'win' a debate generally watches too much West Wing.

Cassidy lost because the internet made fun of his creepy-ass face. That's the big story.
