The lack of empathy this administration and this god forsaken woman have towards society's most vulnerable is sickening.

Honestly, Trump would bring back Osama Bin-Laden from the dead if he could since it happened under Obama.

I'd say society's most vulnerable are those denied due process.

Nope. Sorry. I have no empathy for the accused, mainly because only 3% of sexual assault accusations are false. Brock Turner salutes you.

While sexual harassment is never justifiable, the "dear colleague" letter included a low standard of proof that has no place outside of civil court and ended up discouraging even the healthiest of relationships. Glad it's gone.

Only Wulfric could come up with such an infuriatingly stupid response, regardless of your views on the subject.

Or how about a coin flip standard of proof is too low to potentially ruin a kid's life?

Only Santander would take a post that, like his own, disagrees with "dear colleague", and call it "infuriatingly stupid" just to get his award for bashing Wulfric.

PiitsburghSteel, please educate yourself on this issue

Lowering evidentiary standards to get a guilty verdict is crazy.

there was more than one case where the male got expelled after getting sexually assaulted

People need to stop tying this to Obama. So he made one hideous mistake. Does that counteract all the great things he accomplished? Really sad. No one ever gives him the credit he deserves.

Woah, look at that, Trump Admin. did one good thing. He just just quit while he's ahead and resign.

Sad to see so many people on here who like to victim blame.

I really don't see how wanting a "clear and convincing" standard of proof (which I assume is still less than "beyond a reasonable doubt) before you ruin someone's life (as opposed to doing it on a 50.1 percent chance, essentially a coin flip) constitutes blaming the alleged victim for anything.

Some of the critical responses to this aren't any different from the "Oh you must love terrorists" type responses you got from Neo-Cons to defend the Bush Administration's violations of due process.

"clear and convincing" is 75% chance, and is a fair standard. "beyond a reasonable doubt" is (basically) >99%.
