     Yeah, if this were real then it would be extremely pointless. The kid would learn fairly early on that his parents lied to him about an easily verifiable fact and come to distrust them.

The only time you lie to a child is when you assure them that Santa Clause and the tooth fairy are real.

Other than that, just tell them the truth (gently).  They will find out eventually, anyway.

I can't see the image, but the answer is no, aside from stuff like Santa Claus (which barely counts as lying) lying to your children is a bad idea.

No, because if you lie to your kid, they will eventually become liars as well.  The "sins of the father" are, unfortunately, often visited on the child.  Sad
