I'm a bit conflicted.  FF in the sense that I think it's the most consistent reading of scripture and is thus likely the truth.  HP isn't the right word, but I really wish universalism were true instead, but I don't think scripture points to that conclusion.

Same here.  I've always hoped that Calvinism wasn't true ever since I knew what it was, despite the fact that scripture seems to point to it being true.

The initial impetus of LUTHER was christian. But as soon as the urban rats (incl. CALVIN) abused that naive german professor AntiChristianity emerged.

Unrelenting, cold, logical. Like many others I would prefer it not to be true, but one has to handwave away so much scripture in order to make alternative theologies work. The theology more or less beat me into submission intellectually.
