Suppose Edwards wins the nomination, there is no scandal involving him , and there is no recession how does map look like.

Edwards/Clinton 294
McCain/Palwenty 244

Without a scandal, Edwards was actually a pretty good candidate. Probably over performs in the South compared to Obama.

Probable ceiling:


Edwards/Bredesen - 415
McCain/Palin - 123

I would say this is possible with the recession but not without it (even then I would flip NV and TN)
