Mississippi is the trash of America.

If Mississippi was a country it would be ranked 128th in terms of average IQ of the population. I guess the people of Mississippi don't even know 50 countries let alone 127 better than them.

Mississippi is number one in the following..
lowest average salary.
lowest amount state spends on education.
lowest number of high school educated children.
lowest number of people that speak another language.
lowest number of people that has travelled abroad.

and now
they are number one in overweight/unhealthy people.

lets all thank the Republican Party for a great job they have done in Mississippi.

Why should i give them any sympathy?

This is a state that believes being a liberal is a bad thing. Look at Wisconsin, they were 24th in education spent money eroding the problems in their education system and now they are in the top 6.
Texas was ranked in the top 35. Elected Bush and bang they are 49th in 2000 why? they cut educational spending. they reduced taxes. poverty increased and they are down with the trash of America.

If you are poor you must have two things. A quality education and discipline. Failure to have either and you will end up in the military. Let's be honest the majority of the people join the military as they can't afford the things they need in life. they want a job, an education, healthcare etc. You don't see people go to college and then run off to fight (john kerry did and look what happened TRAITOR)
