Labour peer gave Lib Dem funding

Angry

I feel very bad for David Stewart (he got screwed by the boundary changes as well; losing Fort William and all that...)

I do see nothing wrong in this news.

It's a pretty sleazy thing to do no matter how you look at it; Stewart was unlikely to get re-elected anyway because of the boundary changes (the loss of Fort William and the gaining of the other half of Inverness along with Liberal voting rural areas west of Inverness) but this sort of thing just leaves a bitter taste in the mouth... could have a very negative effect on the political climate and culture in the Highlands actually.
Stewart (who was a good M.P from what I hear) probably (it's hard to tell wi' boundary changes) increased his vote, btw.

Give money to another party's campaign, as a party politician? Yeah, should be a definite no-no. Expel the guy.

Let him renounce the Labour whip in the Lords, or have the Labor Party in the Lords expel him.
