Harris Poll: 40% approve, 58% disapprove

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/blog/2005/08/24/BL2005082401209.html

Rasmussen Poll: 45% approve, 54% disapprove

Take from that what you will.

I take it he has varied from 48% to 36% lately which makes the process pointless.

The Harris question:
"How would you rate the job President George W. Bush is doing as president: excellent, pretty good, only fair, or poor?"

"Only fair" was considered with "poor" as disapproval.  Zog also uses this basic question, but it seems all others use the standard "do you approve or disapprove?" question

Another recent poll:
Gallup, Aug. 8-11: 45% approve, 51% disapprove

Gallup has barely budged over the last three weeks.

Except that he won in November, not September.  Josh has had his head buried in the Fantasy board too much it seems.

But with those low numbers his not going to get jack down and is in danger of losing at least one chamber of congress.

Rasmussen pushes its leaners vary hard. Clearly with a 36% ARG, 40% Harris, and 41% SUSA, Bush is below 45% approval.

Decency wasn't what made him resign.  An imminent impeachment forced the issue.

Obviously Nixon wasn't a very decent person. Bush is definitely lucky to have 218 crazy right-wingers in the House, so he won't get impeached. Of course, he's still act like he had a mandate even if he was impeached.
