I must admit I have a Scottish accent but I tend to simply speak English with a few Scots words dropped in, for instance when saying 'I went to' I always say 'Ah went to.' Working class Glaswegians however have a far more colourful use of words which while I don't tend to speak, I can understand what they are saying.

Here is the whole passge above in 'Glaswegian' dropping some words when needed Smiley

'Ah must admitah huv a Scottish accent buh ah tentae speak English wi a few Scots wirds drapped in, fur instance when ah say 'Ah went tae' I always say 'Ah went to.' 1.wean- don't know about scots, but in standard english this means "stop breastfeeding, teach to drink from a bottle"
9.braw-hot, beautiful (of weather). There may be more uses, but that's teh only one I know
10.feart-frightened

I heard that one of my biology professors is from Scotland. It's rather funny trying to figure out what he says. Scottish accents are pretty cool, I guess. Tongue
