Tester won't win the primary anyway, John Morrison will crush him and then go on to narrowly defeat Burns in the general.

The last poll I read on MT Senate was taken by a Billings news paper and showed Tester losing by 16% and Morrisson by even more. 
Actually you have those numbers mixed up the poll showed:

Burns          49%
Morrison      34%
Undecided   17%

Burns          50%
Tester         26%
Undecided   24%

Morrison is being extremely unestimated he has won state-wide election twice since 2000. While Tester has only won a few (not sure on how many) state senate elections in a traditionally democratic district. Morrison won in 2000 by 50-45% and in 2004 by 56-44%.
