Thank you Verin and Atlasia.

I would just like to outline my five-point plan for this office:

1. Improve reliability of elections.  It is constitutionally imporant that elections start at midnight on Friday and end at midnight on Monday and results are confirmed.  If results cannot be certified immediately after election, I will assure that the integrity of the voting box is maintained, if a lock is required.  As Deputy SoFA, I will assure that any elections I open start at midnight and end at midnight.

2. Improve public access to records online.  I will, time permitting, be creating a web site with a database of dynamically updated voter registration information and election results.

3. Faster management of voter registrations.  During periods where the SoFA is offline, I will record new registrations and then send them en masse to assure none are overlooked.

4. Centralisation of voter systems.  Whether it be a web site or an FTP server or even a topic, we need better centralisation of voter services.  I will work on this.

5. This point exists only to make the list seem more complete.  I don't have much else to add, but a "four point" plan didn't quite have the same ring to it.  So I added a fith.

That's a very interesting five year point plan.  Wink

Sounds good.  President Siege just needs to give him the nod and he can take the oath.

Nice choice, Alcon always wanted to serve in the Department of Forum Affairs as I recall it.

Thanks.  Smiley

This is, in fact, a job I've always wanted to do.  I'm not sure I'll have time to be full SoFA, and Verin is doing his best, too, so this is a good position for me - I'll just provide back-up when he isn't available.

I'll be working on getting stuff online for the October General.
