Bush runs for a 3rd term (no 22nd amendment), but ends up being beaten by Obama even harder than in our time line, and the expanded victory allow Democrats to win the 2008 Senate elections in Georgia and Kentucky, as well as winning the Minnesota election without it going to a recount for a 62-38 Super-majority, and simultaneously winning several more House elections.
