I have president elect 1988. I've played tonnes and tonnes of other presidential election games, but none compare to the simpleness yet complexity of president elect 1988. anyone else here played it?

I'm working on an edit to the file that drives the game to make it work with the 2005 electoral college.

I've got it and occasionally play it.  I typically use it for simulation hypothesis purposes since I'm not very good at it.  Actually, I don't think I've ever actually won an election now that I think about it.  Any tips or strategy?

And yeah, if you could come up with some way to adapt it to modern day and include general and primary candidate from 1988 on to present day, that would kick a lot of tail.  That'd be awesome.

I have won games but mostly tend to just keep up the starting positions. The debates I'm clueless at. seem random somtimes.
