Not to mention he has to kill an intern.

No, if for no other reason then because, as far as we know, Rick Santorum never killed anybody.

Ted Kennedy is one of the very best Senators, and Santorum nearly the worst, so yes, they are mirror images.

Yeah, I don't think Santorum is that great of a swimmer.

To be  honest, I don't even know the first thing about this story, but what amazes me is that right-wingers consider the death of some commoner important.  In the laissez-faire future such people's expendability will be more clearly recognized.

Of course I realize your pretense of concern for the poor in question is purely to bash good old Teddy.

Their ideology should make it perfectly acceptable to them for a rich man like Kennedy to drown poor women all day long, particularly ones of 'immoral' character such as this one.

I laughed out loud when I saw this poll.

Absolutely Yes.

Only Republicans care about Kennedy's driving incident. I don't care and I never have. Their hatred of the man bothers me far more than anything in his past. They just bring it up as a red herring b/c they hate him anyway.

Santorum, who shames Italian-Americans every day, has committed enough faux pas to earn himself the moniker Ted Kennedy of the right.

I'm even more proud to be Italian because of people like Santorum. He's Irish, too (but I am not).

Now, now, lets leave the suicide jokes to Jake. He is so good at them after all. Why can't you be civil like Keystone Phil?

Santorum is much more of an extremist than Ted Kennedy is. Santorum also has way more stupid/hateful quotes than Kennedy.
