As a history prof told me:

You can tell a lot about a person by what side they take in regards to the French Revolution.

"Side" is a poor way of describing it. There were many sides to the French Revolution, both at the beginning and at the end. The number of people today who would have supported the aristocracy at the very beginning are unfathomably few in number. Personally, I would have been one of the constitutional monarchists and probably have ended up with my head chopped off in the Reign of Terror.

Anyway...

#1   Social-Liberal
#2   Left-wing Neoliberal (Clinton)
#3   American "Liberal"
#4   Social Democratic
#5   Liberal
#6   Liberal Socialist
#7   Right-wing Neoliberal (Thatcher)
#8   Anarcho-Communist
#9   Marxist
#10   Christian Democratic
#11   Soviet "Communist"
#12   American "Conservative"
#13   Liberal Nationalist
#14   Burkean (liberal) Conservative
#15   Christian Socialist
#16   National Socialist
#17   Fascist
#18   Revolutionary Conservative/Monarchist (far right)

Two questions essentially bumped up fascism to a high spot on mine.  First, I believe in a strong military.  I also answered in the affirmative to the "nationalism is cool" question.  Dedication to the state is a very important value to me.  We cannot maintain this prosperous, free society of ours without a clear social contract existing between individual and state.  In return for the liberties and opportunities America confers upon us the people must abide by good civic virtues.  We need to drop the "state vs. individual" mentality.

I have to wonder what the party whose flag you have in your sig would fall under. Probably National Socialists, despite not being Nazis and not really fascists (and they're probably the party I'd vote for too)

I took this test again, and it said my #1 ideology was anarcho-communism.  While I do have some beliefs that reflect that, I do not believe that the communist model is really attainable... at least not in a large-scale fashion.

I am a big supporter of utility and farm cooperatives and social organizations such as the Elks Club or the Moose Lodge because I believe that beyond individual ambition and merit, we are a nation of communities.  Perhaps I believe this because I grew up in a small town...

Anyway, here's the list:

#1   Anarcho-Communist
#2   Liberal Socialist
#3   Social-Liberal
#4   American "Liberal"
#5   Left-wing Neoliberal (Clinton)
#6   Social Democratic
#7   Marxist
#8   Liberal
#9   Soviet "Communist"
#10   Christian Socialist
#11   American "Conservative"
#12   Christian Democratic
#13   National Socialist
#14   Right-wing Neoliberal (Thatcher)
#15   Burkean (liberal) Conservative
#16   Liberal Nationalist
#17   Fascist
#18   Revolutionary Conservative/Monarchist (far right)

Hugely problematic test.

The first question for example: Major industries and utilities should be owned by the government OR by workers' co-operatives, not by private individuals.

Define "Major industries or Utilities"? Also what if you against one option but not the other, chose no preference.

The Second and third Question: The how is really, really important here. Again NP.

From the questions I did answer I got:
#1: Social Liberal
#2: Clintonite Neo-liberal
#3: American Liberal
#4: Liberal
#5: Social Democratic
....
#14: Soviet Communist
#15: Christian Socialist
#16: National Socialist
#17: Revolutionary conservative
#18: Fascist

Well that last bit looks a bit right.

What's a social liberal then? Someone like Tester or Webb who is socially liberal and economically centrist?

Yes, sort of. I think I'm a bit of a poster child for social liberalism. Good examples of social-liberal parties in Europe are the Liberal Democrats in Britain or the Mouvement Democrate in France or Democraten 66 in the Netherlands.

Liberal in the European sense is somewhat more economically right-wing: the Freie Demokratische Partei in Germany or the Volkspartij voor Vrijheid en Democratie in the Netherlands, though liberalism in Europe is a slightly below-right ideology, not a far-below-right ideology like libertarianism.

Beh, horrible questions (I really have never taken this test, btw. Anyways I don't remember it.)

Q1: Utilities should be. Other major industries should not.
Q3: Basic health care is.
Q4: It cannot ensure that. It can ensure that those who don't have work are not unnecessarily penalized, though.
Q5: It depends on the case at hand.
Q8: What exactly do they mean by "immigration should be prevented by a planned population policy"? Encouraging the natives to breed like rabbits?
Q14: Of course people aren't exactly "equal". But they're broadly equal and have equal rights. Which they're being in many ways denied by society (society broadly defined here), increasing inequality. Which I guess is what the test's author meant. Similar things go for Q15.
Q21: "Real Constitutional Republics" (in the sense of "real socialism"), yes. Ideal ones, no. Anyways all other tried forms of government are worse in that respect. Including "real socialism".

#1 Social-Liberal
#2 Anarcho-Communist
#3 American "Liberal"
