LOL. The results of this poll are hilarious, and show how dumb the average Democrat on this board is.

Ummm, it's a lot more then just Democrats who support a minimum wage.

That has nothing to do with this poll. You really are too stupid to have a conversation with.

Don't you realize that you are an extremist here?

Once again, that has nothing to do with this poll. The fact that anyone thinks a higher minimum wage will increase employment shows how delusional some people are.

Perhaps we should raise the minimum wage to $25. Then the "working class" will have even more money, and we'll have an awesome economy, with more jobs.

Explain to me why every Democratic President for that last 80 years has had a higher average annual percentage increase in jobs than every Republican President for the last 80 years?

Yeah, jfraud likes to talk about meaningless statistics, so he can overlook things like real family incomes and the unemployment rating.

Clearly at least 86% of the general population, and most economicists support keeping the minimum wage. A strong middle class is key to a strong economy. Extremists like you would destroy the economy.

The middle class does not get paid minimum wage.

In any event, your post once again has nothing to do with the subject, and it's obvious you're clueless when it comes to economics.

Paying a higher wage gives them more money to spend. The working class will spent it on basic living costs, throwing it right back into the economy. In 2003, extending unemployment benefits would have helped the economy by $1.71 per dollar it cost, versus $0.09 per dollar that the Bush tax cut cost.

Raising the minimum wage would increase the pay of people who were making above the minimum wage. We need to return CEO pay to where it was in 1980 in real dollars. The average worker has taken a paycut, while CEO pay has gone up by about a factor of 10. You obviously don't give a sh**t about the common worker if you don't see the problem with curropt CEOs like Ken Lay making big bucks.
