What if the famous fantasy Senate race went real life for the presidency.

I say Nym/Nym. What would a map look like?

The same way the people of the Dakotas keep electing Democratic senators, they'd elect a moderate populist leaning moderate Democrat over a complete blathering fool.

Naso would win with mass fraud.

This would be the funniest election ever. You guys should hear some of the recordings of Naso when he actually ran against Nym in Fantasy politics.

These maps are comparing a sane person with Naso's basic ideology against Nym.  You can't really compare Nym versus Naso nationally.  It's like a real-life national politician versus a 10-year-old.  Regardless of ideological dynamics, Nym would sweep the country.

I don't know how the hell Naso managed to tie Nym in the first place.

Blind party loyalty--as is the case in most fantasy elections.

That's how I won my senate seat.

Actually no. If it was only because of party loyalty Nym would have won by an incredible margin. It was a mix of things. Conservative loyalty for Naso and his huge PM campaign that was aimed at inactives. He won because inactive voters came back to vote for him since he PMed them. I believe someone, I believe it was either Kodratos or Polkergeist, who said that they only voted for Naso because he PMed them. Naso won because, as Al has continually said, he campaigned in the graveyards and got people who were just barely on the voter roles to vote for him.

Note: This was before we had federal post activity laws, which were put in place mainly because of Naso's election.

Actually, no. They were put in place before that time but didn't take effect until afterwards.

No, it's "Wouldn't you like that, you Hansel and Gretel SOB." and that was from the States-Naso race that couldn't happen. States vs. Naso would actually be better than Nym vs. Naso.

You probably know more about it than I do, I wasn't around for that election.  I was guessing a little bit.

Naso on a good day loses to Nym 501-37.
Thinking about it, Nym has a good shot at a 538 rout because Naso would inevitably offend the religious right (all the mountain time zone states) and the south (AL and MS)
