Syria is not Islamist, the regime there is a secular Baathist one (although quite different Saddam's Baathism, the two moved quite apart) plus Syria is a Sunni country which which to a Shiite fundamentalist makes them even worse than a non-Muslim.

Hezbollah wouldn't have any use for nuclear materials, their operations are more small scale. They aren't like Al-qaeda, just basically a paramilitary connected to their political party wing.

Really nothing they could do it with it. Using it in Lebanon would just kill lots of Muslims too, plus would lead to massive international pressure against them and resulting in them being banned, plus would almost certainly reignite the civil war which is not really in their interests if they're the ones to start it. And using it in Israel would have a similar effect once it's found out, not to mention that is far easier said than done. It's not difficult for someone to strap explosives to themselves and detonate them at a security checkpoint, but actually smuggling a crude nuclear device through Israeli security and all the checkpoints is a whole other story.
