Now, I REALLY dislike both of these terrible characters; however, Miers is the much lesser of two evils.  Janice Rodgers-Brown, I was thinking, would be the next SC nominee.  Thank goodness that she wasn't.  Her anti-Catholic and agist bigotry is totally unacceptable.

As a devout Catholic, I'd like to hear more about this anti-Catholic position Ms. Brown apparently has.

Brown's constitutional interpretation is generally quite reasonable (but there is still a question mark about economic due process), so I would vote for her. Her writing is quite excellent, and I'm sure she is more intelligent and qualified than Miers.
