October 2005 Northeast Gubernatorial Voting Booth

This election will begin at 12:00am EST on Friday October 7th and will last until 11:59pm on Sunday October 9th. Pursuant to Section 5 of the Northeastern Voting Regulations all votes must be cast using plurality voting method, NO PREFERENTIAL VOTING will be allowed. Anyone who uses preferential voting will have their ballot invalidated. Please be advised that:

§ IV. Valid Votes
Section I
(a) A voter's ballot is valid only if the voter -
   (1) is registered with the Atlasian Secretary of Forum Affairs as a voter of a Northeastern state 7 days prior to the day appointed for the election to begin;
   (2) and does not edit or delete a post after the next post has been made.
(b) Posts made by an election official in an election thread to administer that election must be separate from a post used to cast that official's ballot and does not count as posts for the purposes of subsection (a).

After consultation with Deputy Secretary of Forum Affairs Alcon San Croix, I hereby declare Winfield's vote for Keystone Phil/King invalid pursuant to Paragraph 4, Section 1, Clause 1  of the Northeastern Voting Regulations which states:

(a) A voter's ballot is valid only if the voter -
   (1) is registered with the Atlasian Secretary of Forum Affairs as a voter of a Northeastern state 7 days prior to the day appointed for the election to begin.

In fact Mr. Winfield is not a registered voter in the Northeastern region or in the Republic of Atlasia. Thank you.
