Hopefully the earthquake killed Bin Laden, since we're clearly too incompetant to kill him ourselves.

It seems to have wiped out whole villages in Kashmir. Several tower blocks in Islamabad have collapsed. We could be talking of thousands of dead. And so on.
Congratulations for once again making a snide political point out of a tragedy.

Are you dense? In Fallujah we took out the freaking hospital on pourpose, killing a sh**tload of civilians, just so that "the casuality numbers wouldn't be inflated". That is listed as a war crime under US law, and Bush should get the death penalty.

I'm glad you care enough to want Osama dead jfern, but that snip about "we're not competent to kill him ourselves" was really unnecessary.

The one where the Iraqi troops were barricading. Look the Iraqis occupied hospitals and schools. I'm far from overjoyed that the did, but that stop the Iraqi from shooting out of the buildings.

2000* confirmed dead; 400 of those were children in one school in Mansehra.
Unsuprisingly the huge Kashmiri community over here is very upset about this; a lot seem to have lost relatives. Over £2 million in relief money has been raised by a Birmingham based charity already.
*another report has just said 3000

I've heard between 20-40,000, mainly in Pakistani Kashmir.
What would you rather, jfern-39,999 dead innocents and UBL, or none and no UBL?

probably sensationalist, but we're getting reports like "Official estimates put the toll under 20,000; but our experts say that's a minimum and it could be up to 40,000".
