Seems right, it calls me a strong libertarian, and although I'm for leaving government out of some economic affairs, I'm no libertarian.

Social -1.09
Makes sense. I always figured the PC got my social score a bit low, As I have no interest in legalizing drugs, I like helmet and seatbelt laws, and I think there sould be some safety restrictions on firearms.
I just have a healthy suspicion of authority (whether it be governmental or corporate), which probably dropped my score on their test a bit.

I just noticed this thread. How long ago did you create this test?
My score:
Economic score: -2.62
Social score: 0.55
I think I may have selected neutral one to many times. Some of the issues I really dont have a strong opinion one way or the other (ie affirmative action).

Your score pegs you as economically anarchocapitalist and socially .
Anarchocapitalists generally believe that the free market should be unregulated and laissez-faire in nature, with government either only intervening in extreme cases or never intervening at all. They also believe in significant reductions of government services

On the GOP side, for 2016, look out for Gov. Phill Kline (KS), Gov. Ralph Reed (GA), Gov. JD Hayworth (AZ), Sen. David Vitter (LA), among others.

Nice graph, Don. I think you put Q and Ebowed in social conservative territory instead of liberal, but otherwise very well-done!
Thanks for all of the feedback, compliments, etc., you damn libertarians.

Not too bad. Needs more questions.
The site is designed to be completely modular (everything is based on two expandable arrays holding the social and economic questions), so if you have any ideas for new questions, send them Alcon's way, and if he thinks that they're good, they'll be added.

Your score pegs you as economically capitalist and socially .
Capitalists generally support an open free market and lower taxes, but also support government restrictions on blatantly abusive industry. Capitalists also often differ from their more extreme peers in that, while they may support significantly lower taxes, they are less apt to support complete elimination of taxation or near-complete elimination of government.
Nice site Gabu! This test totally pawns the real political compass!!!

Thanks to Gabu, I've designed a web site for the Atlas Forum Political Compass, which I've renamed the
Political Matrix
. Yes, I know that is a dumb name, but most of the good ones are taken and I am lazy.
In any case, bugs are fixed, questions have been added, and soon we will be readying cool graphs and results explanations.
I personally think this test generates better results than the Political Compass, although it still may need some work. Anyway, post scores/comments here.
My first score on this version is:
Economic score: 4.77
Social score: -3.82
Please read down - if the test calls you a libertarian when you are a liberal, it's because it's not finished, not because it really means that.
Nice work guys.
I got Econ: 0.15, Soci: -5.64.
This is accurate as far as it tests. Indeed, I am in agreement with most of the libertarian platform. This test rightly pegs me as such.
However, the reason I vote Green rather than Libertarian is the environment. This test has no question pertaining to environmentalism, and therefore it ignored a large part of my political philosophy.
