I took the test and am only posting the scores because I feel that, for the first time, I have taken a test where the scoring is accurate.
I do not follow what a political test says that I am.

I am now skeptical of this test, as I tried taking it as a crazed Religious, basically answering the opposite of the way I would on everyting, and it gave me Anarchocapitalist! It should have said 'Far Right Winger' Or 'Religious Fanatic'. Alcon's labels are biased, as his test labelled me a 'far leftist'.
That's because nothing is entered under social scores, just economic. Like I have said, what, six times in this thread so far, including in the opening message?
Oh, that sucks.

This test is based on the centre of the United States. If this was the Opebo Compass, it would not be judged that way. But it is not the Opebo Compass.
Oh, so you are not referring to the full spectrum of opinion, but to the median - the same number of people are to the right and the left of the 'moderate'. I suppose I am to the left of the
median
both socially and economically, in the US - though it is somewhat difficult to determine this as the majority of people neither vote nor have any voice in the press.

Retook the test by taking advantage of the "This issue is very important to me" box...
Economic score: +1.85
Social score: -2.55
Not sure how much of an effect there was, though it does peg me as slightly more libertarian on economic issues. While more accurate than the Political Compass, I worry that no test can give a fully accurate indication of ideology because my ideology is not exactly one that is traditionally defined as liberal, conservative, populist, libertarian, moderate, etc.

The only thing that I can think of chaning is immigration from neutral to agree (although it should remain difficult for Muslims to immigrate here) and death penalty from agree to neutral.

P.S. Give this thing more questions!
Give us more questions to add.
Here you go:
Stem cell research - I, for instance, am pro-life, but I support stem cell research.
Cloning
Hate crimes
Gun rights
War in Iraq
Mandatory english language classes for immigrants
School vouchers
On another note, wording on the marijuana question should say “for recreational purposes” after the question.

Thanks for your suggestions. I've tried to add many of these but I've run into problems:
- It's hard to make a stem cell research question that doesn't result in >60% people selecting the pro-research option.
- I don't really think cloning has become a partisan issue *yet*.
- Hate crimes is a possibility, although I'd have to phrase the question very well.
- Gun rights is a trait shared by some social libertarians and social conservatives alike, so it unfortunately doesn't track along with other things, so I intentionally discluded it.
- The War in Iraq is too specific and situational, rather than being general policy.
- I'm not sure what you mean by "mandatory English language classes for immigrants."
- School vouchers is a possibility.
I'm going to do a mass update when I get time.

How about "State and local governments should not be messing around with regulations on strip clubs"
Other ones:
"School uniforms should not be allowed"
"There should be no restrictions on the times one can sell alcohol"
"Communism is "cool" "
"Suburbia is a very boring, sterile and awful place to live"

I'm pretty sure they only want to include issues normal people care about.
