Besides, if Kerry had won, at this point in time I think there would be a lot of people regretting their for for him.

It's very sad. Now it is at least one year too late.
We are going to have this fanatic and ignorant guy until January of 2009.

If I remember correctly from the Presidential, SUSA is a tad biased to the left.

Regardless though, I think Bush's approval ratings are going down more due to satisfaction on the right than because of independents.  It's like how the approval of the Democratic Congressional Caucus is so low, many Democrats are dissatisfied.  It doesen't mean they won't vote Democratic in the midterms, but they're disatisfied with the quality of Democratic leadership.

Of course, that is unless the breakdowns prove me wrong.  Does anyone have them?

If you click the state names on the poll list, you will get the breakdowns for each state poll.

In Alabama, Bush is 82-17 among Republicans, 16-81 amond Democrats and 44-53 amore Independents.  But, Bush is just 63-34 among Conservatives, 36-61 among Moderates and 23-75 among Liberals.

SUSA is not biased to the left. The only Presidential poll that they weren't close on in 2004 was Nevada, where they had Bush up 8 points. And their latest California Proposition poll seems biased in favor of Propositions supported by the Republicans.
