3. The required average fuel economy to avoid incurring a duty shall rise for both passenger vehicles and light trucks by two miles per gallon in each fiscal year, beginning in fiscal year 2007.
I'd prefer if this clause had a time limit in it (ie, from 2007 to say 2016, instead of from 2007 on for ever and ever)
Apart from that, I like this bill very much. Smiley

clauses 4-6 should be based on percentage of total price, oerhaps?
In that case, clauses 1 and 2 should be as well. This is probably a good idea, btw.

I think you'd have to have some set aount, say $1000, and then the rest floating according to the coast of the vehicle. Otherwise, companies might reduce their price, etc.
And that would be a bad thing how?

I have noticed a loophole in the bill; with the clauses described, one may produce a car or small truck outside (standards free) of Atlasia and then import it here.
You're right, this should have been levied on any car sold rather than any car produced in Atlasia. (feels stupid for not spotting this earlier)
