Horrible, no.  Worthless, probably.

I can disagree with the positions taken by Ron Paul, but respect the integrity of his positions.

To acknowledge what? That the guy isn't 100% trash? Yeah, no one's suggesting otherwise.

He's only 80% trash...
I'm astounded that opposition to the Iraq war would outweigh favoring the repeal of the income tax, proposing the abolition of most federal departments and programs, opposing most new spending, and supporting withdrawal from the U.N. Granted, he holds some rather silly views (like the position that the U.S. should return to the gold standard), but nonetheless...

It's not that. The man is an attention whore. He just likes to be controversial and bash his own party to get recognition.

He's an obnoxious fool with histrionic personality disorder. In other words, the John McCain of the House of Representatives.

Whether that translates into 'horrible,' I don't know.

correct.

he is a media whore.

and when it comes to discussing the iraq war, him and maxine waters must have the same speechwriter.

See Walter, I don't know why you are so against me when we can agree on so much.

No, he is not a horrible person but he wouldn't get stand a hope on hell of getting my support. I doubt any libertarian would because it's unlikely I'd agree with them on the issues

No, he's not.  He may take some very unpopular positions on issues, but that doesn't make him horrible.  Teddy Kennedy on the other hand . . .
