Anything by boy bands, or mainstream pop.  Also music by S8!7 heads that can't play a guitar solo.  I've already listed my pet peeve top three on another thread.

Almost everything from:
blink182, Green Day, Eminem and other rappers, country, techno, emo, Fall Out Boy, Black-Eyed Peas, My Chemical Romance, and other shitty bands.

But if I have to list them:
1. BYOB- System of a Down ("Why do they always send the poor?"? WTF?)
2. Island in the Sun- Weezer (Even though I like Weezer, this song is too cheesy and is obviously used in a Long John Silver's comercial).
3. Mariah Carey Singles 1 & 2 from her album- (Obvious enough. I hate cheesy pop music).
4. Holiday- Green Day (Green Day's music + Green Day's politics= 1 crappy song.)
5. The entire rap genre.

EDIT: 1500th post.

That's up there for me too.  Also, "Because You Loved Me" by Celine Dion.

And my all-time least favorite song -- "Dancing Queen," by Abba.  I cringe every time I hear that song.

"We Didn't Start the Fire" by Bill Joel is also pretty high on my list.

Shouldn't this be in Forum Community? Tongue

Either way, pretty much everything Casey said, along with basically everything else. I don't generally like pop music unless it's "quality music" from the 1970s (my mother still likes The Doobie Brothers, hahaha Grin Shocked Wink) or something actually worth listening to, that is, without cheesy, rubbishy, sentimental romantic drivel that burns my ears; in other words, I like Adrian Belew but not Celine Dion and Steven Wilson but not Britney Spears. Juvenile-sounding music with political lyrics, such as Green Day and many other stupid punk/emo bands who insist on spewing out political bullsh**t, also irritate me. Disgusting retards - I don't need politics served up hot or cold with my music, and anyone who (ab)uses music just to bitch and moan about politics doesn't deserve my attention or money. I also don't like Britpop - Radiohead, Bloc Party (don't know if that's British, though), Coldplay, et cetera bore me to death. Music needs to have some kind of artistic value for me to really appreciate it.

I'm more of a progressive rock/metal (power/symphonic metal included) person myself. Long live King Crimson!

You my boy!  I was beginning to fear everyone liked that crap.

I particularly hate that song from Hoobastank that came out last year.  UGH!  The p*ssy sounded like he was crying throughout the entire song.  Other ones

American Idiot - Green Day (they're not THAT bad, but this one is especially awful)
Anything from Simple Plan
Hardcore rap
Punk rock
Country
Hero-Nickelback

Well, I certainly do not like any of those bands. The only time I ever liked a Green Day song was the one they used in the Seinfeld finale, but they play it all the time, so I hate it now. Tongue

That's what you get from being from the inferior side of PA.

Anyway, I nominate:

"Come Sail Away" by Styx
"I Try" by Macy Gray
The new "Lady Marmalade"
"Miss Jackson" by Outkast

and I'll think of a few others in a bit.
