Just for the hell of it...

Predict who you think will be indicted and on what charges?

By the way, the question is not who should or should not be indicted. Or who you hope is indicted.

Bush will be indicted and arrested in public. Because Bush will nominate Gonzales, Republicans will not care.

I think it really will be that unexciting.  But, in order to be different, I'll guess that both Libby and Rove will be indicted on something minor.

They will bargain for zero jail time with nolo contenderes and receive pardons as Bush leaves office--and the two-year investigation will prove to be a complete waste of time.

From election day onward, a president who has not been re-elected should not be allowed to pardon.

I will, amazingly enough, second this prediction.

I have no solid leads.  I'm guessing that they find no violation of intelligence laws.

If it's anything it's procedural like obstruction of justice.

I'm wondering if there is anything that will come out.

A crime has to actually be committed for their to be indictments.

Just for kicks, I think I'll go deep...

Rove - Conspiracy, perjury, and withholding evidence.

Libby - Conspiracy, perjury, withholding evidence, and knowingly disclosing government secrets.

Cheney - Conspiracy, perjury.

Ashcroft - withholding evidence.

Bolton - Perjury

Libby will be indicted for perjury and poor prose for the letter to Judith Miller.

A crime has to actually be committed for their to be indictments.

That's...totally not true.

Libby will get some lying to the grand jury related stuff.  He'll offer to plead guilty in exchange for no jail time and an end to the investigation.

No chages will be related to Valerie Plame.

By next Friday, it will be out of the news cycle.

Well, typically a crime has to have been committed, but the person indicted doesn't have to have committed it.

The entire Republican Party will be indicted on the charge of being Republican, which is treason against America, and will be summarily executed.

IOW, you're saying that Fitzgerald is going to get the investigation extended to the next grand jury term (the third term it would be now, I believe).

Fair enough.

Well actually, the grand jury could reach the conclusion that there was no underlying crime, i.e. nobody did anything wrong regarding classified information.  They still could have attempted to cover up some legal actions illegally or committed perjury.  That would be exceptionally ironic.

Makes about as much sense as a lot of the stuff we hear from the rabid-right (coulter, hannity, etc).

A crime has to be alleged.
