I hereby open up voting in the gubernatorial election for the Mideast region. Gustaf--please sticky this.

Polls will close at midnight on Sunday, May 16, 2004.

The region consists of WI, IL, IN, MI, OH, KY, WV, VA, MD, DE, and DC.



If you are registered in this region you can vote.

The declared candidates running in this election are:

NickG (P-MD)
Dukefan (R-VA)

I am standing int he voting booth. I don't know who to vote for. I just was about to vote Dukefan, but I am having second thoughts....

I really don't know which way to go.. Duke is a fairly average conservative... but Nick is an unknown quantity policy wise?

But based on their past posts and wishing i had more info, but fully aware that time is running short i proudly vote for NickG!

NickG made history tonight by being elected first Governor of the Mideast region and first Progressive Governor of any region.

With 99.6% precints reporting NickG (P-MD) has won 60% of the vote, compared to 30% for Republican candidate Duke Fan (VA) and 10% for the write-in candidate Nation (UAC-MD) according to state election officials.
