anywhere but quebec.

one night in quebec was enough for me.

Most friends in or from Canada tell me that Quebec, especially Montreal, is the snobbiest and unfriendliest place on Earth. Couldn't really say whether that's true or not, though.

If you don't speak French, that's probably at least a little true.

I voted Newfoundland, same reason as I said Perth in Hugh's poll. In theory I like wild, untamed places but I would probably end up near a city.

List of other cool places I might live in in Canada:

Happy-Valley/Goose Bay, Labrador
Churchill, Manitoba
Calgary or Banff (Unless its as conservative as Alberta as a whole is)
Winnipeg might be nice
Thunder Bay
Parry Sound, Ontario

Sherbrooke, Quebec (I do speak some French)
Kamloops, British Columbia.
Saguenay River Valley, Quebec

Does anyone know much about the last 3 places? They seem cool.

I've been to Kamloops before.  It's a fairly pleasant place, although very uneventful.

I went to Montreal for a bachelor party this past summer. The strip clubs were good but not amazing. It is full contract, though!!

I've also been to Kamloops Cheesy Although I was only 5 at the time, and I only stayed over night.

Never been to Sherbrooke or Saguenay, although I know there is an english speaking minority in the Sherbrooke area. Saguenay though is very French.
