one night in quebec was enough for me.

Most friends in or from Canada tell me that Quebec, especially Montreal, is the snobbiest and unfriendliest place on Earth. Couldn't really say whether that's true or not, though.

If you don't speak French, that's probably at least a little true.

Sherbrooke, Quebec (I do speak some French)
Kamloops, British Columbia.
Saguenay River Valley, Quebec

Does anyone know much about the last 3 places? They seem cool.

I've been to Kamloops before.  It's a fairly pleasant place, although very uneventful.
