Welcome back, Dan.  Cheesy

Even though I talk to you a lot on IM, it's nice to see you back here too.

I stand with you in the fact that this place needs CHANGE quick.  And the split that occured in the midwest doesn't seem to have had much of an effect on the rest of Atlasia; they don't seem to care that they've lost part of their country and some of their former citizens.

Things need to change.

Things will change once the next Senate session gets in. Only you and CheeseWhiz (maybe somebody else) are still technically in the rebellion. DanielX is now part of both. Smiley

Speed of Sound is also in the Rebellion.

Yes you're right, forgot about him. Thanks. Smiley

Why won't things change *now?*

I've heard this before...how "things will change."  They never do.

Welcome back Dan.  I see you haven't lost the knack for melodrama. Wink

I can assure you that forum affairs reform WILL happen over the next four months.  I ran my entire election campaign on this very theme, and I have to say that last weekend's debacle has inadvertedly created the best possible environment for reform.

On the matter of the secret ballot.  The issue of fraud has been the number one concern since the issue was formally introduced nearly five months ago.  In that time, a great deal of thought, time and effort has been put in to make sure every precaution has been made.  The current bill that awaits a Senate discussion, in my mind, does all of these things.

I'm glad to see you've come back, and I look forward to seeing you around here more often. Smiley

How can reform start *now* when in a couple of days we'll have to start it over again. It will start within the next Senate session.

hey dan Cheesy

I'm senator-elect. I left, but I came back. Atlasia, as we both no, goes in cycles-good, then hideous, then good again. I think we're about halfway down a downslide. It'll get worse for the next month or so, then start getting better. Around about the mideterms we'll be on the upswing again.

I needed 'the sun and the sea', so to speak. I now 'live' in a small town at the head of the Columbia, made famous by "Kindergarten Cop" Smiley
