fir this thread, let's exclude any precinct that is over 95% black.

There should also be a size minimum. There's actually a precinct in my city that voted 100% Kerry, but only had 5 votes.

Bush placed fourth in the Driftwood precinct in unincorporated Thurston County, Washington, this year.  Driftwood is located near Evergreen College, is heavily white, and is rather well-off.  The results were:

Kerry 126 (86.90%)
Nader 9 (6.21%)
Cobb 4 (2.76%)
Bush 3 (2.07%)
Badnarik 2 (1.38%)
Harris 1 (0.69%)

In other words, 2.07% were cast for conservative candidates, 1.38% for libertarian, and 96.55% for liberal candidates.

Nader is not liberal. He is a totalitarian Stalinist.

Yes, there was one in Kidder County, North Dakota that was Bush - 64.42%,   Buchanan - 20.19% and Gore - 12.50%. There was another precinct in the same county where Buchanan got 21.43%, probably his best in the country, but Gore got 35.71%. Bush got less than 40% and beat Gore by less than 4 points.

Even more interesting is if you compare the 2004 to 2000 results, the Bush numbers are practically the same despite Buchanan breaking 9% in 2000. This means that most likely a good chunk of the Buchanan vote went to Kerry, or possibly even a majority. If not, then there was a massive swing to Kerry from previous Bush supporters. Kerry even won two precincts in the county, something he couldn't even do in Bismarck, sadly. I'm willing to be this was all because of Iraq.

I have actually driven through Kidder county many many times, but have never stayed there for any significant length of time because there is no reason to obviously. If you ever go through there though you should check out the little towns on the side of the interstate. They're creepy as hell.
