i remember hearing of a precinct(s) in cambridge mass where bush finished 3rd behind gore and nader in 2000.

can anyone confirm or deny this?

Bush actually finished third in 2000 in all of Cambridge!  He ran about a point below Nader.

See, the exercise you point out here is kind of pointless.  Because if we find a 96% black precinct in inner Harlem than went 99.37% for Kerry, is that really a liberal precinct?  No, of course not; a better term would be socialist, putting it mildly.
