We all went to bed nervous as hell about tomorrow's election,  and we were up talking about results from Dixsville Notch, NH.

I mean of course I knew we would win, but others werent so sure.  It seems like like a lot longer than a year ago.

I don't believe 1900 was a leap year.

Nor was 1800.   Century years which are not divisible by 400 are not leap years.

Yes, I know way too much trivia.

It doesn't seem like it's been a year.  Still feels like it's only been 6 months.  hahaha

One year ago I was hoping for Kerry to win. He's the only one who could defeat him, after all.

also, 1 year ago today, I was trying to date this hot middle-school asian girl.

Because it's divisible by 400. 2100 will not be a leap year.

That doesn't make any sense. there is one lead year every 4 years.

No, there are exceptions. A year divisible by 100 is a leap year only if it is divisible by 400 as well. Also, being divisible by 4000 means a year is not a leap year. Remember, the time of the Earth's revolution around the sun is pretty close to 365.25 days, but not exactly, so a few further tweaks are needed.

It's very easy to say "I knew we would win" with hindsight, but I'm sure a lot of Kerry supporters were saying the very same thing.  Until the actual results came in (and proved the exit polls to be way off), nobody really "knew" who was going to win.
