No, because they're Sunnis.

Iran and the new Iraqi government are natural allies, as they are the only countries in the world now ran by Shiites.

bad of course. Anything that's friendly to Iran is bad and Shiites are one horrible awful group meaning they shouldn't run anything. Of course just because the Saudis aren't friendly to Iran doesn't make them good in my view, if that's what you're trying to imply.

I don't believe that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. However I do believe that the friend of my enemy is my enemy.

The NixonNow regime in Syria is also Shiite.  Well, sort of.  They're part of a group that's an offshoot of Shiites.

Enemies of course. Do you honestly think I'm a fan of Putin and the corporatist regime in China or something?

I don't care about Castro. I just like Chavez because of his leftist domestic policies. Also I haven't heard of them being close to Russia and China at all.

Chavez has bought weapons from Russia and has threatened to give U.S. F-16s to China.  He will probably use oil sales to China to acquire more weapons from the two countries.  Chavez has also defended Iran's "right" to develop nuclear technology and has called Iran a model for Venezuela's development.  The alliance of Russia, China and Iran is a serious threat to the U.S. and that is why Chavez is so supportive of those countries.
