No, but your position on last names in marriages is ridiculous IMHO.

Not at all.  You are concerned about the opposite sex and some of their issues and that's admirable.  A lot of men aren't and they should be.  They think their job is to dump cum and have a woman barefoot and in the kitchen.  It takes a bigger man to admit otherwise and I admire that.

Hey, I got some of my typing ability back so I will be on more frequently now.  I still have to take it easy though.

So they're NOT cum dumpsters? And they're supposed to wear shoes in the kitchen?

1.Yes they are,obviously
2.Yeah, but to be fair they're supposed to be in high heels----unless they're having a kid over the sink.

Anti-male?  No, I don't think so.  However, I would caution you not to place too much trust in any given group of individuals - those who call themselves feminists may very well be sexist against men, even if they say that all they want is equality.

Nclib, you are either anti-male, or you've bought into one-sided propaganda that is implicitly anti-male without fully recognizing the whole picture.

When you can make blanket statements to the effect that women make most of the sacrifices in marriage, that women do most of the housework and childrearing work, etc. without looking at the other side of things -- that men work a greater number of hours and supply a larger percentage of a family's financial backing than women, then I'd have to say that you are functionally anti-male because you are buying into the one-sided propaganda of groups with an anti-male agenda.  This makes you functionally anti-male in effect, even if you don't think you feel that way.

I think it's ridiculous the way feminists try to politicize every personal relationship.  I don't deny that some women are in abusive relationships in which they are being treated poorly and being taken advantage of by men.  But the reverse is also true.
