Absolutely. If they're going to ban the Ba'ath Party, there's no reason they shouldn't outlaw Islamism, which is 1000x worse.

No, it's not democracy. The Ba'ah Party shouldn't be banned even if it's not a good party.

Outlawing parties - any parties - is rather undemocratic. And outlawing parties that have mass support is not just antithetical to democracy but is also frigging useless.

The Baath Party ruled over a period of time resembling that of Germany under Hitler and the NSDAP. To not ban such a party is fairly stupid.
