Both of them fall under the banner. Yeah it's vague, but also very broad.

If you're saying that only Marxists are "leftist", then you're also saying that all leftists must be atheist, hence rendering the question pointless.

I'd say "leftist" is an economic position and yes quite a bit including most of the "religious right."  People who believe that gays need to be dragged behind trucks but love the welfare state.  This is essentially the same ideology as HAMAS.  People having very high social scores and very low economic scores tend to advocate it.

I'd say instead that there have never been any problems with liberal Christians other than that they follow the message of Christ to closely for my liking sometimes and don't stand and fight when they can turn the other cheek.

well, seeing as i am a leftist christian,i would say no, i, nor any of my fellow leftist christians, havent really caused any problems, at we've caused less than the conservative christians have.

No, because while Left wingers and Christians have both caused problems on their own, when they come together, they tend to bring out the best out of eachother. Or it might have something to do with bad leftists opposing religion and bad rightists opposing leftists.  Left wing Christians oppose no one.
