I imagine she would.  She would be the top candidate for 2016 if the Republicans won and perhaps even 2012 if they lost.

I think she would.  She would probably want control over foreign issues though.

I think she would.  I don't think she wants to run for president, and the VP spot could be a good place for her.  She could then gain some domestic policy experience, which she is currently lacking, and run for president herself later.

Sure she would.  She is smart and ambitious.

This would be a great opportunity for her to continue her public service.

After being VP, if the ticket wins, who knows what the future holds for her?

As long as Iraq continues to be an unpopular catastrophe, Condi Rice has absolutely no future in politics.

Why would a Republican want to associate themselves with the Bush Administration by choosing somebody like Condi Rice or Dick Cheney for a running mate?

If Mark Warner wins in 2008, I think Rice will challenge him in 2012 (the Rep. leadership will find away to win w/o the SC primaries).  She would definitely be formidable in a general election, but the primaries preclude her from receiving the nomination this time.  Allen will pick Sanford anyway, and if not Sanford, then Romney (cringe).
