The list of things I'd rather do than live in Fresno is probably about eight million items long.

Fresno is porbably one of the few cities of its own size that I'd rather commit suicide than live in

Every couple years, I stay there a couple days when I visit my friend.  Stockton is better than Fresno, IMO.

That's just harsh.

The central valley is a horrid wasteland of anglo failure in the motherland that needs to be cleansed.

I doubt I'd have anything against living there, I'd just prefer to stay in Wisconsin.

The only place I'd take Fresno over would be the midwest/plains states or Alaska. Those are too cold for me.

Uh, Bakersfield.  Just driving through it on the freeway is a miserable experience.  The smell of cow poo is pervasive

The Central Valley is the worst part of California.

Haha yeah. I was thinking about professional opportunities in rural areas( mainly due to lower costs) but Bakersfield is definitely off the list. Fresno, Modesto and Stockton are bearable.

Do you like sounding like a nazi? Are your political views inspired by Eric Cartman?

Clovis is fairly nice. Has an upscale old western style town and homes that would cost you almost 1 Million in OC that go for about 300-400 K.
