So Keith Obermann from MSNBC named Rick Santorum the world's worst person for his alleged hypocrisy on medical malpractice reform (His wife sued someone for about $500,000 over some injury). Now, I don't know the specifics about the issue and it could very well be true that Santorum was being hypocritical but naming him the worst person in the world? Give me a break. I understand that some people really dislike Santorum but shouldn't this title be given to some much...uh...worse?

I can think of better nominees for that title. Kim Jong-Il comes to mind, but hell, I'm sure you could find worse than him outside of the spotlight.

Olbermann does a Worst Person in the World segment every night.

Santorum is definitely deserving.

Don't sweat it.  Keith Olbermannnnnn calls someone the "Worst person" every night and its usually a joke.  Someone he really doesn't like, but a joke if you are thinking in the literal sense of his terminology.

Phil, you have to understand these cable news commentators are prone to exaggerations because that's what people like to hear.  Look at O'Reilly's comments about a terrorist attack in San Francisco.  O'Reilly is a nutcase, but I don't think he honestly believes that.  We're witnessing the same with Olbermann and Ricky.

It depends whether or not Olbermann is blessed.

Romans 4:7-8

7. "Blessed are the whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered."
8. "Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him."

Phil, please realize that your boy is a political hypocrite.  Here it's ok for him to sue for his wife's minor back problem at $500,000, but someone could have something much more serious and thinks it should be capped at $250,000.  I could go on with more, but I'll leave it at the topic of conversation for now.

If he's a hypocrite in this area then I'm obviously not going to defend it. A total political hypocrite? I think not.

I'm glad you recognize it.  I could go on about a few other things, but I don't feel like it at this point.

Yes, Santorum is most assuredly the worst person in the world. He should be put out on a stake for everyone to see. Obermann is my new hero.

You have to remember that Oberman is an extremely sick. extremely left wing nut case.

He hated Mother Theresa.

well Emorett, as far as I know, Santorum hasn't took part in planning any large catastrophies that killed thousands of people. I think...  Huh
