Yes, I would. And as others have said, it's much more important to me that I and my wife share the same faith.

I've never had another against people of another race, but I've just never been attracted to girls (or guys) of another race. So no.

I remember this thread. It's a bit scary in how much racism is going on in it.
This.
I love the fact a bunch of nerds sitting around making up fictional election maps can delude themselves they have much choice in the dating world. Yes of course, the reason you aren't dating Halle Berry is because you don't find black women attractive. LOL.
Considering that these guys can write off BILLIONS of women on the planet as undateable based on race and ethnicity alone I would love to see the primo tail they are pulling.
The bigots who say they wouldn't marry a Hispanic woman obviously don't know that "Hispanic" isn't a race. I realize we are never going to eliminate bigots... My only request is at least know what you are bigoted against.

racism always shows if you ask the right questions. I think it is largely unavoidable, a consequence of upbringing and circumstance, and should not be treated as a cardinal sin. and from there we could have dialog as to the whys of it all -- but this is just another utopian dream.
as a side note, I was stunned to hear in one of my classes in 2011 that the (mostly white) kids at Cornell were under the impression that overt racism no longer existed in the US. because the bubble they live in, as they get trained to take up arms at the representatives of the next ruling class, hides it so well: guarantee you every glossy Cornell finds one of the 5% of black kids enrolled to smile his white teeth for a picture. I probably would have been deluded in the same way had I not worked a wage job all four years: this part of my education taught me about "lazy niggers" who want to get paid and not work.

Yes, I have been attracted to women of all different races, and the attractive and caring and loving the person would determine getting married, not race. I tend to have a thing for legs on Asians.

I'm prepared to say no.
For one, I can't see myself falling for a non-white girl just based on the fact that I'm not really physically attracted to them. Apart from that, I'm looking for someone who's similar to me. Someone who comes from the same social fabric. I just know I could never feel like me and a black girl were on the same footing--not because one footing is better than the other, but because our experiences would be very different. I'm not really the kind of person to jump out of my comfort zone like that.
Is it probably based a little bit in racism? Sure. I'm not gonna dance around it or pretend I'm above it like others are doing in this thread. Still, I think this is an "okay" type of discrimination because it's something inherently personal. My best friend for four years was a black girl--she knew how I felt about this topic and even admitted that she probably wouldn't be comfortable marrying a white guy. I'm okay with it.

There's nothing logical about physical attraction. I don't think it's fair to make value judgments based on what physical features someone finds attractive, regardless of whether that leads them to being, on average, more attracted to members of one race vs. another.
But I am a bit taken aback when I read comments like "I've never found someone of another race attractive." Really? *Never*? I mean, for those of you who are white, if you're counting, say, Hispanics or Arabs as a different "race", then it's not like they look *that* different from you.

Theoretically, yes. I believe that Biblical Christianity abolishes differences between races and people groups. I have no problem with interracial marriages.

Most definitely, considering I am myself of mixed race, being half-white and half-Asian. As long as she is vivacious (to offset my taciturn personality)
and
curvaceous with at least a C-cup, I don't care what race or mix of races she belongs to.
Though I do have a slight bias toward black women, I have to admit....

So, Simfan -what is so strange about this post? What is so strange about my preference for black women?

Is this supposed to weed out the racists? I might consider marrying a Latina or Asian woman, but a lot of Latinos/Latinas are also white to begin with. I guess it depends on the woman.
